Paraplanning for fee-only advisors Conway, SC
The six hours between a good meeting and your evenings.
When a client meeting needs real scenario work (a Roth conversion window, withdrawal sequencing, a state move), the modeling either comes out of your nights or doesn't happen. Hornbeckco builds that packet for you: flat fee per deliverable, stated turnaround, every figure traceable to a source.
From the specimen fabricated clients · real 2026 law
Nine pages, four scenarios, sensitivity bands, and the runnable math script. All figures are machine-verified against the engine output. The specimen uses fully fabricated client data on primary-sourced 2026 constants.
What every packet includes built backward from the meeting question
A packet you skim, instead of a model you re-derive.
- Decision calendar — the real deadlines in play: enrollment windows, RMD onset, filing dates, conversion cutoffs.
- Data-gaps table — every hole in the file paired with the exact ask that closes it. A guessed answer never substitutes for a real one.
- Scenario writeups — stated assumptions, each carrying a direction-of-error tag so you can see which way a miss cuts.
- Sensitivity bands — longevity, spending, and a deterministic stress path. Your planning software's Monte Carlo stays yours; this feeds it.
- One-page client summary — plain terms, meeting-ready.
- Facts ledger + runnable math script — every figure traceable to a source document or a line of code. Nothing typed by hand.
- QA & methodology note — what was checked and how, written for your compliance file.
- Sign-off lines — every advice-bearing item requires your individual sign-off, so your file shows an active decision on each one.
How an engagement runs the clock pauses on gaps
Six questions in. One packet out.
- Intake gateSix questions before anything starts: who the client is (anonymized), the question the meeting must answer, materials, your assumptions and the bridge-funding answer, your agenda, the meeting date.
- Gap-chaseMissing or conflicting facts come back as a list, each gap with the exact ask that closes it. The turnaround clock pauses until they do.
- BuildScenarios run in code against dated, primary-sourced constants. The script ships with the packet, so nothing is a black box.
- QAEvery load-bearing figure machine-diffed against the engine output; every ledger value cold-read against its source. The process is periodically tested by seeding a deliberate error and confirming the checks catch it.
- Advisor sign-offThe packet arrives as your draft, in your branding, labeled for advisor review. You own the advice; the sign-off lines keep that boundary in your file, not just in the fine print.
Fee schedule Terms v1.0 · Aug 2026
Flat by deliverable. No subscriptions, no minimums.
| Tier | Scope | Fee | Turnaround |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | One scenario + decision calendar + open-items memo | $425 | 3 business days |
| Standard | Two to three scenarios + memo + full QA + PDF | $775 | 5 business days |
| Complex | Three or more interacting scenarios + reconciliation: conversion ladders, relocation variables, multi-account sequencing | $1,325 | 10 business days |
Stated up front so it never surprises: if intake carries more than three material conflicts, hits a rule-forking defect, or a refreshed document changes the facts mid-build, the engagement re-quotes one tier up or continues at $120/hr on the excess. Your call, priced before work resumes. One revision round within scope is included. Full terms: ask for the engagement one-pager.
Data handling full memo (PDF)
Anonymized at intake. Enforced, not promised.
Hornbeckco does not accept identified client data. Before anything is sent, you remove names, Social Security numbers, account numbers, and addresses. Initials, balances, and fact patterns are all the modeling requires. If an identified document arrives, it is deleted on receipt and the intake restarts clean.
| Your compliance team will ask | Short answer |
|---|---|
| Does the vendor receive PII? | No. Anonymization is a precondition of the engagement; identified data is refused. |
| Where does the data live? | Encrypted transfer, one dedicated encrypted workstation, deleted 30 days after delivery. |
| Who has access? | One named operator. No subcontractors, no offshore processing, ever. |
| Is AI involved? | Yes: drafting assistance on anonymized data under no-training commercial terms, with human verification of every load-bearing figure. |
| Who owns the advice? | You do. Every deliverable is a draft for advisor review, with per-item sign-off lines. |

Any tier's scope, within reason, in exchange for written feedback on the deliverable. Anonymized-data requirements apply in full. The pilot exists to prove the work, not to shortcut the guardrails.

Hornbeckco is one person.
Aidan builds every packet from Conway, South Carolina, while enrolled in a CFP Board-Registered Program at Coastal Carolina University's Wall College of Business. One operator means the person who ran your numbers is the person who answers your email, and the data-handling promises have exactly one point of failure to audit. Hornbeckco never contacts your client, never takes custody of anything, and never touches identified data.
